Bothenhampton Helpers
This organisation was formed many years ago to raise money towards the running of the Village Hall by fund-raising and social activities for the village.
We try to arrange various activities to provide entertainment and keep up the community spirit within the village - as well as continuing to raise funds for the Village Hall.
The main event of the year is the Flower Show in September which is always popular and well attended.
Typical activities are:-
- Visits by the Frome Valley Morris Men/Mummers
- Quizzes
- Fun and Games evenings
- Gardeners' Question Time
- Talks/ slide shows
- Village rambles
- Beetle Drives
- and a concert with local talent every other year.
We always hope for more support at these events, please watch out for posters around the village, notices in the Team News and on this web site.
We endeavor to keep Bothenhampton as a village in its own right, not merely as a suburb of Bridport.
