HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL, BOTHENHAMPTON ON MONDAY 8 OCTOBER 2007
AT 7P.M.

public to air their view on matters of local interest. At 7.17
pm, the Meeting re-convened to complete the Council's agenda,
there being no further matters raised.
5. REPORT BY WDDC COUNCILLOR FOR BOTHENHAMPTON.
Karl Wallace - CPRE litter campaign.
CPRE should be contacting Parish Clerk shortly.
Bridport Town Council - Askers Meadow - temporary site for Wessex
Water while work is being carried out in Crock Lane. Some concern
that WW will seek permanent planning permission.
David Tett - Budget. The Council will shortly be considering the
Budget for 2008/2009. It will be debated in Council in January
and the Council Tax fixed in February. Much will depend on the
Grant settlement by Central Government but, doubtless, the
District Council will be keeping any increase to the bare
necessity whilst at the same time maintaining its services.
Regarding Scrutiny of Waste, I understand that Dorset County
Council has a Meeting in October at which a decision on a Waste
Transfer Station in the west of the District is likely to be
taken. Until such time as a site has been identified, it is
difficult for the District Council to process its worth and meet
Central Government criteria.
