The 6 Parish Councillors present would discuss and give their Corporate View after the public debate had been concluded.

With so many speakers, the Clerk has listed the comments as stated and where possible the names of the contributors as follows - ( with apologies for any spelling errors of people's names) :-

Michael Pryke - has written to the PC concerned about AONB & the effect of wind turbine on the landscape -
Val Audiston - concern about the effect on birds - how big & noisy is the wind turbine ?
Mike Kite - original position of turbine is not clear - sound level of 43db is a point of reference with no meaning -
Yvonne Norman - unsure about sound emissions when wind is in different directions - for planning decision to be considered by full Planning Committee - why were so few residents advised ?
Shelley Fielding - why so big ? - 3 badger setts in area - buzzards nest in area, & they are protected species -
Chip DeGreef - Responded to concern re residents in Slades Green
Martin Wood - local resident in support of wind turbine
Alan Staerk - Research re wind turbines is questionable - memorandum - Environmental Office
Roger Ffooks - purpose of wind turbine is to produce electricity
Martin Wood - is the Planning Application fo a private application or will it benefit present business - need to be advised by Planning
Harry - - mentioned approval of similar structure in Salway Ash
Colin Sparkes - asked if height of wind turbine would be similar to adjacent Ash Tree
Jim Shearman - Global Warming gave reason for wind turbine
Sandra Hooker - Commented that 7 nesting pairs of Buzzards were in the area & Planning Consent would give precedent for more wind turbines
A resident asked if no Badger Setts will be disturbed as they are 25/30 Metres away from wind turbine site

At 7.55 p.m. the debate closed and the Chairman asked the Parish Councillors to consider their Corporate View on Application 1/D/10/000434.

The Corporate View of the Parish Council is to recommend an Objection to planning consent for the following reasons :-

1. The visual impact on the landscape of the proposed wind turbine may be too large & conspicuous - (have noted WDDC Memorandum dated 14/7/2010).

2. The Parish Council are unable to ascertain the possible noise levels of the proposed wind turbine - (have noted WDDC Memorandum dated 13/7/2010).

3. That Buzzards nesting in the immediate area may be adversely affected by the presence of the proposed wind turbine.

4. There is a concern that badgers & bats may have habitats close to the proposed wind turbine site.

The Clerk was instructed to send these comments to WDDC by Tuesday 13 August 2010.
v Nb. The Parish Council have requested that WDDC District Councillor, David Tett, asks for Application 1/D/10/000434 to proceed to WDDC Development Control Committee.

There being no further business to discuss, the Meeting closed at 8.15 p.m.
